WHAT IS POWER OF A WOMAN?
I would not argue that a woman is strong a priori. Women are very different. But there are strong ones among them, that’s for sure.
I think the strength of a woman is whether she can be who she really wants to be. Now, if she can, if she is the mistress of her desires, fate, decisions, then she is strong. In any person, two forces interact: active and calm, active and passive, giving and receiving. And, when a person is integral, she skilfully manages all the pairs of her capabilities. To give birth or not to give birth, to lead or obey, to work or not. A woman who can afford to decide for herself is a strong woman.
Everything else that concerns the function of procreation, maternal love, love for a man, all this is the nature of a woman, this is not her merit. A strong woman is a harmonious woman. For me, the one who supports life in everything that surrounds her is strong. Creates and maintains. This is a great work.
A woman who loves herself exclusively has never inspired me. But the woman-victim, too, does not command respect. “Look like a girl, think like a man and work like a horse”, such women generate admiration and a sense of strength in me.
